Maintaining Your Pool with Pristine Blue

Every 2 weeks:

  • Test and adjust pH (7.2 to 7.6), Total Alkalinity (30 to 90 ppm), and Calcium Hardness (175 to 275 ppm) as necessary.
  • Test Pristine Blue level.  Top as needed according to the chart below.
  • Shock with 1 (one) pound Pristine Power per 10,000 gallons of pool water to oxidize unfilterable swimmer waste such as suntan lotions, greases & oils. This considers light to moderate bather loads.  Heavy loads or parties should consider shocking weekly.
  • Add 2 oz. of Pristine Clean per 10,000 gallons of water.
  • Add 2 oz. of Pristine Clear per 10,000 gallons of water.
