Here's a quick table showing the pros & cons of the various sanitizing systems for spas & hot tubs. 

No 2 spas are identical; especially when it comes to how it is used (number of & frequency of bathers), how it is treated (which chemical care system) & just as importantly, the water used to fill it (source water varies widely across the USA).
