This is a typical Mineral Springs™ ABOVEGROUND installation.  Here's what you have to keep in mind:

• Plumbs with any type of pipe or hose (flex hose with clamps, PVC, flex PVC)

• You may want to encase the control cables in 1" conduit or flexible PVC pipe for their protection

So what's this "Turbo Cell"?
The "Turbo Cell" that we've been talking about is where all of the magic happens!  Inside of the cell are titanium plates covered 22 baked on layers of Ruthenium (a rare, exotic element that resists corrosion).  As the filtered pool water passes through the cell, the plates convert the Minerals in Mineral Springs® into a sanitizer.  Furthermore, because Minerals Springs™ Beginnings™ and Renewal™ contain a patented blend of minerals, pH buffers, filter cleaners and filter aids, your cell plates stay cleaner, longer; your filter filters better; water stays soft & better balanced.

The built-in flow switch monitors the flow of water through the cell & the cells actually "self-clean" their internal plates about every 100 minutes.

As an alternative, the Pentair Intellichlor is a great, easy to use & install product.

What do you have to do?  

Not much.  Check the pH, add 1 lb. (one pound) of Mineral Springs™ Renewal™ per 5,000 gallons, once each week (or one bag per 20,000 gallons).  The control box will tell you what the Mineral content of the water is (maintain between 3000 - 3500, add Beginnings™ when it drops below 2800).  When you expect a large bather load due to a party, simply put the unit on "BOOST".  Mineral Springs™ will automatically take care of everything for you (and then automatically reset itself when finished!).
