BioLab® UV - LC 20 - BioLab® UV assists your primary sanitizer (chlorine) by providing an additional layer of protection against viruses, bacteria, cysts and protozoa that are introduced into the pool by swimmers as well as the environment.

When used with a recommended BioGuard® pool treatment program (such as BioGuard® 3 Step, Once a Week 3 Step & non-saline systems), the BioLab® UV technology improves bather safety from chlorine resistant organisms such as giardia & cryptosporidium. With BioLab® UV, you get the peace of mind that comes with knowing you're doing everything you can to protect your family. Once you've used the added protection of UV, you'll never go without.

The BioLab® UV LC-20 must only be used on pool systems that DO NOT operate salt or saline systems such as BioGuard® Mineral Springs.  If you currently do not have a saline system but are considering one, then use the BioLab UV LC-10.

Measures: 8" diameter x 27" high.  2" water fittings. 120 volt only.

Comes with standard 3 prong electrical cord.

Installs AFTER the filter and BEFORE the heater (if heater is a part of the pool system).  Best results are achieved when the water flow is about 50 - 100 gpm.  Hint: Slower or lower water flow equals higher UV exposure and effectiveness.

Warranty: 5 years stainless steel housing, 2 years parts, 1 year bulbs (average life of bulbs ~1,000 hours)
